1. About these terms
This is a review draft for faangin’s website and proposed app offer. This website currently provides an interactive preview. Desktop app downloads are available separately for supported computers. The interactive website preview does not provide checkout or connect to an AI provider. The operator’s establishment, applicable jurisdiction and production data practices must be confirmed before commercial launch.
These proposed Terms describe the conditions for using the faangin website and, when available, its app. The final terms, applicable purchase details and any required consent must be presented before a paid transaction. Do not purchase or use a paid service unless you can lawfully enter the agreement and accept the terms supplied for it.
faangin is the service name confirmed for this draft. Support and legal questions can be sent to hi@faangin.com. No company incorporation, address, governing-law selection or court jurisdiction is represented by the brand name alone.
2. The preview and proposed app
The website preview is illustrative. Examples, comparison views, hide/show controls and positioning controls demonstrate an intended workspace. They are not a live model connection, a recording service, a checkout or proof of native app behavior on your operating system.
The proposed app provides interview-oriented guidance and workspace tools. Features, compatibility, supported providers and any technical requirements must be stated with the actual app offer. A Pro subscription covers the features described in the applicable offer for the paid subscription period.
3. License and ownership
Subject to the terms supplied with an actual purchase and applicable law, an active Pro subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the supplied app for your own lawful purposes. It does not transfer ownership of faangin’s software, design, branding or other intellectual property. No license is granted to resell, sublicense or redistribute the app unless separately agreed.
You retain the rights you hold in content you provide. Any permission needed to process that content must be limited to delivering the functions you request, maintaining security and meeting legal obligations. These Terms do not create a blanket right to sell your interview content or train models on it. Third-party model output rights depend on that provider’s terms and applicable law.
4. Responsible and permitted use
You must follow applicable law and the rules of the interview, employer, school, assessment provider and meeting platform involved. Assistance that is not allowed in a particular setting must not be used there. You are responsible for obtaining any required permission or consent before recording, transcribing or sharing another person’s voice, image, screen or information.
- Do not use faangin for impersonation, fraud, unlawful monitoring or an unauthorized assessment advantage.
- Do not upload or disclose material you lack permission to use, including confidential employer information or protected interview questions.
- Do not distribute malware, attack the service, evade legitimate access controls or use stolen payment information or API keys.
- Do not copy, reverse engineer or defeat license controls except where applicable law expressly permits the activity.
- Do not misrepresent AI-generated material, your experience or your credentials where disclosure or truthful representation is required.
5. Included AI assistance
The planned Pro subscription includes unlimited AI assistance. Pro access and a 20-minute free AI trial with no card required are coming soon. The current preview uses sample content.
Protect your credentials and keep them out of support requests. The live app will disclose how it handles credentials and routes data.
Model availability and third-party services may change. We assess provider issues and app defects based on their cause. Your non-waivable rights remain available.
6. Payments and refunds
The planned Pro price in USD is $49.99/month billed monthly, or $29.99/month billed annually ($359.88 per year). Before payment, checkout must show what is included, the billing interval, applicable taxes, the total charge, and the renewal and cancellation terms. The current preview does not collect payment. A new recurring charge or materially different paid offer requires a separate clear agreement.
The Refund Policy describes the proposed limited seven-day technical-issue policy, corrections for duplicate or erroneous charges and rights required by law. A full refund ends paid access associated with the refunded subscription payment, subject to applicable law.
7. AI output and interview outcomes
AI guidance may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, unsuitable or similar to output given to other people. Review and verify it before relying on it. You remain responsible for what you say, submit, disclose and decide. The service is not professional legal, financial, employment or other regulated advice.
faangin does not guarantee an offer, interview score, salary, employment outcome, a particular response speed, or compatibility with every platform. No term guarantees that a tool will be invisible to every screen-share system, recording method, operating system or assessment environment. Demonstration controls and marketing language are not independent technical certification.
8. Availability, changes and suspension
Features may need maintenance, security updates or changes as platforms and providers evolve. Changes to an existing paid entitlement must respect the purchase terms and applicable law. A material paid-service change does not retroactively rewrite a completed purchase or remove a mandatory remedy.
Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address a security threat, unlawful conduct or a material breach. Where appropriate and lawful, notice and an opportunity to correct a problem should be provided. Suspension does not automatically remove a refund or other right required by law. You may stop using the service at any time.
9. Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the preview and any experimental features are supplied as available, without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not exclude any warranty, quality requirement or remedy that applicable consumer law makes mandatory.
To the extent applicable law permits, faangin is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses such as a lost opportunity resulting from reliance on AI guidance or an independently operated third-party service. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or deliberate wrongdoing, or remove a lawful refund, data-protection remedy or other mandatory right. No universal damages cap or binding arbitration requirement is imposed by this draft.
10. Questions, disputes and applicable rights
Contact hi@faangin.com with a concern and enough information to identify the issue. We encourage a reasonable opportunity to resolve a problem, without making informal contact a condition of exercising a statutory remedy or a lawful payment dispute.
No governing jurisdiction, exclusive court venue, class-action waiver or arbitration agreement is selected here because the operator’s establishment has not been confirmed. Laws and consumer protections that must apply to you continue to apply. Jurisdiction-specific provisions require review before commercial launch.
11. Changes and related policies
The date above identifies this review draft. Final terms and material revisions must be made available before they apply, with notice or consent where required. Changes will not retroactively reduce rights attached to an earlier purchase.
