The interactive website preview does not provide checkout or connect to an AI provider. The operator’s establishment, applicable jurisdiction and production data practices must be confirmed before commercial launch.
In this policy, faangin, we, us and our refer to the service using the faangin name. This draft describes the current website preview. A future account, payment or AI-powered app may involve additional information; the applicable notice will be provided before those features collect it.
2. Information handled by the preview
The preview uses sample interview content and illustrative workspaces. Its question fields and optional email demonstration do not submit entries to a faangin backend or an AI provider. The email demonstration does not deliver email. Do not enter real interview recordings, confidential employer material or sensitive personal information into a demonstration.
Your browser necessarily sends connection information when it requests website resources. Hosting, delivery and external resource providers may receive technical data such as an IP address, requested resource, time, browser information and referrer, depending on the request and their configuration. The production providers and their log-retention settings are not yet finalized.
- Browser state: input values and controls used to display the current demonstration.
- Session preference: the selected sky mode, stored under faangin.sky-mode in session storage.
- Information you choose to email: your address, message and attachments, handled through the email service used to receive and respond to you.
3. Why information is used
The preview’s browser state supports the interface and your selected appearance. Technical request information supports resource delivery, reliability and security. Information you send to our contact address is used to address your request, maintain necessary correspondence and meet applicable obligations.
The current preview does not integrate an advertising or analytics SDK, a user-account database, a payment flow or an AI-training pipeline. This statement describes the present preview; it is not a promise about undisclosed future features. Material changes will be described before the relevant collection begins.
4. Browser storage and your choices
The sky preference uses session storage rather than an advertising cookie. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data controls. Its lifetime follows your browser’s session and restoration behavior. Ordinary demo input values are part of the page’s browser state rather than a stored faangin interview history.
Blocking storage may prevent a preference from being remembered. You can still use the preview. Browser extensions, your device, network administrators and browser-history features may retain information independently of faangin.
5. AI providers and other services
The planned Pro subscription includes unlimited AI assistance. Before live AI functionality is offered, faangin will explain what content is transmitted, whether it passes through faangin infrastructure, how credentials are protected, and the applicable retention and provider arrangements. This preview does not establish those future practices.
If you choose to use a model provider separately, that provider’s terms and privacy settings also apply. Do not assume that every provider offers identical retention or training controls. External pricing links and other destinations operate under their own policies.
Website delivery, external animation resources and email services can involve service providers. The production provider list, processing locations and any required international-transfer arrangements must be confirmed before launch. No jurisdiction-specific compliance certification is claimed by this draft.
6. Retention and security
Local preference data remains under your browser’s storage controls. Email correspondence and technical records, where held, should be limited to what is needed for the relevant request, security, legal obligations and legitimate recordkeeping. Production retention periods and deletion procedures remain to be finalized; no fixed server-log deletion period is promised here.
No website, device or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid sending credentials or confidential interview material to support. If you believe an API key has been exposed, revoke or rotate it through the provider that issued it.
7. Privacy requests
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of information, or restrictions on certain processing, and to complain to a competent authority. Where processing relies on consent, applicable law may allow you to withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send a request to hi@faangin.com with enough information to describe your concern. We may request proportionate verification and will follow applicable requirements. Do not send a government ID, password, API key or full payment-card number unless a lawful, secure and necessary verification method has first been agreed. We cannot delete information held independently by a model provider or another website on its behalf.
8. Children and other people’s information
faangin is intended for interview and career-related use, not as a service directed to children. Do not provide another person’s personal information without the permission or other lawful basis required for that use. If you believe a child’s information or unauthorized third-party information has been provided, contact hi@faangin.com so the concern can be assessed.
9. Updates and contact
The date above identifies this draft. A material change in collection, purpose, sharing or applicable rights will require an appropriate updated notice and any consent or other action required by law. A policy update does not retroactively authorize a new use of previously collected information.
